“I could be dead”: Edmonton senior survives moose attack in his backyard

An Edmonton senior is beaten, bruised and lucky to be alive after he was attacked by a moose in his backyard.

Hye Kyu Sohn was working in his yard last Saturday, when the 75-year-old came face to face with a mother moose (or moose cow) protecting her calf.

“We made eye contact and then she just runs at me,” Sohn said, telling Global News he can’t believe he survived the attack.
