With artists from more than 20 countries, Russia on Saturday revived its Intervision song contest, which the Kremlin promotes as an alternative to Eurovision and a means to highlight “traditional values”. Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc won the event with a song inspired by a poem about bamboo.
