Socialist Party leader Olivier Faure said there is no guarantee that France’s pension reform will be suspended, despite discussions with caretaker Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu. He also stated that the Socialist Party cannot support the government’s current budget proposal. Faure made these remarks following his meeting with Lecornu, who began a two-day series of talks with political parties after resigning from his post on Monday morning.
