A US judge on Tuesday rejected a government bid to force Google to sell its Chrome browser but ordered sweeping changes to restore competition in online search. The ruling follows Judge Amit Mehta’s August 2024 finding that Google maintained illegal search monopolies through billion-dollar exclusive agreements.
