Germany said Friday it had summoned Moscow’s ambassador after it accused Russian-linked groups of hacking its air traffic control system and attempting to influence the 2024 general election. Dubbing such operations, including drone flights near European airports, as “hybrid attacks”, Berlin says it is planning coordinated countermeasures with EU partners. Moscow dismissed the charges as “absurd” and “baseless”.
